Non-Latin Typefaces
I find these incredibly beautiful. A few look like lower case ‘g’s on their sides. The last ‘chva’ letterforms are by Matthew Carter.
I was asked recently by Shehab in Egypt, if I would take Arabic typography into consideration on Type Worship. Of course, my response was that I will blog about any beautiful letterforms. My enthusiasm with Arabic typography (and indeed all non-Latin type) is only metered by my current lack of knowledge. I did however notice this Arabic Typography event in New York a few weeks ago.
Thanks for posting Béla.
Latest addition to my library is full of beauties
